The brief : to create a brand, all the literature suite and a new website for a new business offering the leading audiovisual technology and solutions to architects, designers and top-end individual clients.
Firstly it was the most amazing meeting i’ve ever been at. Ever. I know that’s not saying much: meetings arent supposed to be fun but when i called out to visit Billy Peat from the Bang & Olfusen in Donnybrook Dublin i was truly amazed! I was led into the ‘meeting room’, i use that term very loosely, it turned out to be a cinema room with everything from the blinds, the cinema sized projector screen, the speakers the size of Daleks ALL controllable from a small hand held remote control. I was treated to a scene from iRobot to show what this home integration or ‘digital convergence’ was capable of… and boy was it fun! Ever since then, and every time i drift off in another meeting i am magically transported back to that room in all its glorious high definition… (sigh)
For the website we really knew that this site had to have the same wow factor and pack the same punch that their products do so we decided to do our own complete integration by using a wide variety of tools and technologies to give this site the attention it deserved.
The landing page has a custom introduction video created in After Effects.
The main site is a combination of Flash, actionscript, Slideshowpro and is inspired by the jQuery coda slider.
The site is also search engine friendly with backup content for those who dont have flash player installed.Each page has its own printable version for people who want to print off the pagesSpecial offers : This page was created using a custom PHP & mySQL content management system meaning Total Package administrators can login to the site to add, edit and delete special offers from the site quickly and easily.We have set up google analytics and a google sitemap using the wonderful webmaster tools to make sure we can see test where traffic is coming from and to measure the success of the site.
